Should i be lpn or rn nurse?

I’m in Job Corps now about to do the cna program and I’m wondering if I should also do Job Corps LPN program for FREE (!!!) or just transfer my credits from college (I went to a community college for two years before Job Corps) to another college to do their RN program.

Is the Job Corps lpn program accurately accredited? Is it worth being an lpn? I’m 22 years old by the way and I have no children. I’m just scared to dedicate a whole uear of my life to being an lpn only to find out I can"t get a job with it or, worse, the credits from Jov Corps won’t transfer to an RN program.

I’m looking to go to school for either RN or LPN, whichever one I can find first that fits my schedule. I just moved to Clermont FL so I can drive to any of the close surrounding cities including Orlando but I have to have Evening classes only with clinicals at night or on the weekends or just weekend classes/clinicals period because I’m a stay at home mom by day and do not want to put my kids in daycare and my hubby works during the day. Does anyone around this area know of a school that offers either the RN or LPN program during those days/times? Also I’m trying to find a school that lets you complete some core classes (prereqs) online for the RN program. Any help is appreciated!

Hello!
The LPN program is 1 year, and the LPN to RN program is also 1 year. I feel like having my LPN for a year while im in an RN program will put me at a slight advantage experience wise, and look better on applications. I was also considering taking a phlebotomy course. I was just wondering if anyone had any input on the lpn to rn program..is there a fast track program..etc. I will most likely be going to CCAC (Community College of Allegheny County), but if anyone has any suggestions on other schools or any advice that would be great !

I love helping people and I am at a lost.

I don’t know if i wanna go back to school to be a cop (Specialize in Forensic) or go back to be a Nurse.
